Established in 1999, Critters is a private online writing and critiquing forum for writers who are
actively and seriously pursuing a career in romance writing.
Deadlines are March 31st, June 30th, September 30th & December 31st.
However, when your Guideline Agreement and Critter Survey are returned and if time allows, we try to place new members in groups as soon as possible. Writers are natural procrastinators, we need to keep active and writing, so waiting too long to gain access to a critique group, which is a vital part of writing, can be just as destructive.

Whether you are writing for epubs or hardback pubs, Critters can help you
learn, develop, and perfect your prose, while making great friends.
We have a "pending" loop, so potential members can get to know each other,
ask questions and see if Critters is the place for you.
